I was often in the J-Bar and everything was delicious with the last night. the famous burger tasted just like a tablespoon of kosher salt over raw meat. my daughter enjoyed her chicken soup, but the part was in the last few years smaller and pricier. on the positive side our waiter jonas was thrilled. The j bar and the entire hotel jerome are simply lively history. since the 1800s founded and led, the bar still has many of the original equipment, including the bar itself. if they doubt, there is a picture of the 1800 shows the bar and as it looked....it is exactly the same now. cocktails are made with carefree and tasty. the menu is limited, but quality beats out any amount and the ousters rockefellers were delicious. the menu changes me. lower line, they can't go aspen and don't go to the J-Bar!
I found the $28 hamburger to be overpriced and disappointing. The automatic 22% service charge was added regardless of the party size, which felt unwarranted. The service itself had a somewhat aloof attitude, further adding to the underwhelming experience.

So solid and consistent. Easy atmosphere and appreciate having you. Great burgers and fries , artichoke dip and fish tacos. Bring back pastrami sandwich please!!!
