We stay for 3 months each year in San Mamiliano, and our 'go to ' favourite spot is Bar all 'Isola. We would probably have coffee there 3 to 4 times a week, and the lunch menu is just great. The owners are always there, and all of the staff are very accommodating. Great coffee, great food and a very pleasant atmosphere. My advice put it on your list of places to visit when in the Valnerina!
On departure to return home after a stay in Valnerina, breakfast at the bar is obligatory. Always good, staff always very brilliant and helpful.
Nicest bar in the area. Wide and varied offer both for breakfast and for an aperitif. It offers a gazebo heated in winter and a small garden for the warmer periods. It has a display fridge with cakes useful as desserts to give as gifts for dinners. Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
They have gluten free croissants! They are frozen but still a lovely surprise in Val Nerina! The only odd thing about this café is that the toilets have a window facing the restaurant's main room other than that, very welcoming staff!
