Although we were quite skeptical about real estate agents in general, but still wanted to sell our house as efficiently as possible, we contacted several real estate agents for this. After listing all the pros and cons of each agency, Engel en Volkers Bruges stood out for us when it came to concrete agreements and a clear sales plan. Our house in Bruges was sold in 10 days and in the end we completed this process without any worries. The broker handled this perfectly from A to Z. Last year we sold our apartment on the coast through them, sold after 1 month at the asking price. We appreciate your help and the fact that agreements are not empty words, thank you again for your support.

Quiz question: who is able to collect the sales commission without realizing a final sale of a home in the higher price range (in which they claim to be a “specialist”… ? Yes, E V Brugge! Here is a short story of this very negative experience: House offered for sale via E V Brugge, and yes: sold in 1 day. The buyer does not wish to 'complete ' his purchase (which E V Brugge obviously cannot do anything about , the buyer therefore pays the stipulated compensation and... E V Brugge invoices its commission and then promises to sell very quickly without new commission... You guessed it: after that no more new initiatives, no new candidates introduced; clear why: sales commission has already been collected. This felt very unethical especially greedy; In the end we sold the house entirely ourselves. Moral of the story: a total disappointment in the competencies especially the attitude of this office. Definitely not recommended for us, unfortunately! Catherine
