restaurants where you eat well and many are not legion. Here is the case of many cooked dishes. the great eaters will be in the angels. reception is there without fioritures, effective and polite, but perhaps more a way of improvement to follow). in any case an address to be recommended without moderation. View all feedback.
Disappointed. Greasy food. Main meal arrived partially frozen. We were charged for desserts that never arrived. Host only interested in looking after his friends. Don’t waste your time or your money.
Super friendly service. Very efficient. Ordered the €24 menu. So much food! Started with raviolis and a burrata and heirloom tomato salad. Raviolis were simple with a creamy pesto sauce. Tomatoes were flavorful. Special rotisserie chicken with morel mushrooms and roasted potatoes was excellent. Bull stew was very hearty. Only had room to split one dessert. Only downside was that we had to sit inside and it was a bit warm. But we hadn’t made reservations, so we were ok with it.
We ate (2 couples on a visit to Arles) on two occasions in l'Affenage. Excellent food, first class friendly service and an interesting ambience in what appeared to be an old farm building, though close to the town centre. My partner and I had the foie de veau which was delicious. On the second evening I had the tuna, also first rate. A wide variety if starters also. For dessert the tarte tatin was outstanding . Overall very good value indeed. We will go back when next in Arles!
Everything was great, a beautiful setting, a friendly welcome, the dishes really well garnished and tasty (a little too fatty for part of the table), right down to the dessert unfortunately a little below in terms of taste but we'll keep one very good memories of this place and a good time spent with family.
I start by commenting that we are Galician. The facade of the restaurant caught our attention so we decided to try it. They have a menu for €28 per person that is very good and abundant, the wine is not overpriced and the service is good. The girls don't speak Spanish so we used the app to translate and everything was solved. 100% recommended.
