This was a great find. It was very busy when we arrived but we were seated quickly the service was good and friendly. Lots of choices we went for fish and chips and the southern fried chicken burger with cheese and bacon. Both were excellent massive portions, I needed a doggy bag! Recommended. I put a lot of effort into avoiding allergens, and it can take weeks for dairy to leave your system, so this incident has set us back significantly. Food allergies must be taken seriously, as they can pose serious risks. Thankfully, my baby is still able to eat, but this could have led to a hospital visit. I was in a party of 17 at a birthday party last night. My first time in Jacks Bistro. The menu choices were great. And very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was excellent a lot of clean plates at the end of the meal! The waitresses were friendly, attentive and efficient. All in all a great dining experience.
Great food as always service was excellent and cannot recommend Captain Jack's enough. Had mushrooms and brie to start then a steak sizzler and scampi as mains. Try the Cruzcampo!
