While the service at Fox River Brewing left something to be desired, the atmosphere was lacking and the food was hit or miss in terms of taste and overcooking. However, the large portion sizes and timely service impressed some customers. Despite mixed reviews, the convenience of the mall location, good beer, and prompt service keep some diners coming back for more. My wife is pregnant, ordered a mocktail. She specifically clarified that she wanted the mocktail. They still brought her an alcoholic beverage. They did discount it, which was appreciated but it shouldn't have happened to begin with. The setting was nice, the waitress outside of that did a good job. The food was very bland though. Everyone at the table felt their food lacked flavor and was well underseasoned.
Food was just ok, way to sunny inside, need something better to cover windows from light and heat, didn’t feel very welcoming.
It was very ok. A little pricey. I ordered fish and chips. The french fries and tartar sauce were ok but the fish was way overcooked. Wasn't golden brown, it was getting near dark brown. Wouldn't order again if that's the standard.
