Love coming to Bazil's for good food, great service from Jenn and the other great bar staff. The Ambiance is cool, they serve food until 1:30am each day. Its not a Bro bar but more line an upscale dive bar with a good vibe. Don't change a thing Bazil's!!!
Bazil's is a great pub in Appleton downtown! They have a great pub vibe with vintage decor and swivel bar chairs. Bazil's has a rotating selection of beers on tap. My favorite is Spotted Cow from New Glarus Brewing. I ordered a flight of beers, which is four 4 oz pours for $10. They do have a food menu as well. I glanced on the wall behind me and saw The Beer Club. Apparently if you drink all 100 beer beer brands they serve, then your name is placarded on The Beer Club wall. If you're looking for a pub to relax and enjoy a drink, then swing by Bazil's!
Bazil's was recommended by the front desk at the Hilton hotel for good late night food. It was just a short walk down the street. We walked in with 7 people at 10:00 pm and the service, the food and the experience were all excellent. The place is very comfortable and the bartenders did a great job! I will definitely be back.
Every time I travel back to WI, I try to stop in at Bazil's at least once to order their steak sandwich. They make it to order: Medium rare with grilled onions. That, plus a glass of Pinot Noir and tip set me behind $20. Not a bad price. Excellent customer service as well! The place is not fancy. It's bar food, but simply good bar food! I have a good memory of this pub and that steak sandwich,... Yum!
Once a great bar to watch a game now filled with hipster bartenders unknowingly that there is infact a packer game filling the room with mocks if go sports when any level of excitement rose within the air. Still good ol Bazil 's but highly disappointed in the camaraderie within the establishment these days.
