We were in thalasso in Anglet and we had suddently a big need of a seafood platter. La Concha is the place to be! Not only because the beach in front is really nice but the food is fantastic! we went to eat in this restaurant after a quick search for internet. We trusted the good grades. Staff is really friendly as well and the place is authentic.
The last review I wrote was quite negatiw, everything had changed and eating was really not at the level it was. Finally they looked at the feedback of customers and worked on it. the service is still to be edited, but again too good!
I went with my man without knowing this beautiful place. beautiful restaurant with seafood, nice staff. I recommend it
They know how to cook fish, trust me! the meal was beautiful, tender for the price. fresh fish weaver with a beautiful fried garlic and chili vinegar sauce. correct association with a French white wine jurançon sec . just one point that they should improve quietly (maybe it was only today): the floor was so slippery, we almost on the floor. besides this detail it was a really nice experience, I recommend it.
Tonight , our experience was horribly unbelievable. We ordered the seafood platter , salad and baked potatoes platter . We sat there while the waitress waited on and served new people that sat down . To top it off she went back to a table...next to us , gave them a dessert menu and delivered complicated desserts promptly . All while we sat there , with no food and not even the little bowl of olives that you get when you are first seated . We almost walked out but instead asked the manager if he could get our food that was obviously sitting there. The seafood tower was a real obvious dish . I asked the manager when we paid , why ? He just shrugged his shoulders . The French people next to us were so nice and helped us order in French .
