I 've been wanting to stop in and give this place a try, I finally did. I got the double cheeseburger and large fries. The 2 burgers were paper thin, it 's like that old commercial, where 's the beef , the whole sandwich was small, the fries were thin and for what I got, the price was too much, disappointed. Kid-friendliness: Yummy little lemon drops on the counter keep the kids happy, and the train running the perimeter is fun.
The restaurant was average. The onion burger was decent. The service was good. I dined in for lunch and paid between $10-20 per person. I recommend trying the cheeseburger.
The onion burger far exceeded my expectations. Being from Oklahoma where onion burgers are a big deal, I was surprised to find a place up north that does them perfectly. This was my first visit to the Lemon Drop in Anderson. They were packed at 12:30 several were waiting for a table. I sat at the counter and enjoyed the conversation of my fellow diner because he was funny.
