This restaurant is the top choice in town. I dined here three times in one week and enjoyed dishes such as fish and chips for lunch, skrei (a type of cod), and duck.
I was unimpressed with this restaurant. Despite there being plenty of available tables, we were turned away under the pretext that they did not have space for a party of five. The restaurant was only half full at 7:15 pm, so it was clear that they...
They told us they were fully booked. Since they have like 30 seats outside where only four were taken, we asked if we could sit outside. They couldn’t since it could raining. 30 minutes later the sun was shining and five hours later the weather is still fine. Probably they were too lazy to take the seven of us in. They really don’t know customer service here!!! Avoid to keep from being treated as bad as we were.
If you find yourself in Andenes you must stop in to this restaurant. I had the pan seared cod and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, good drinks, friendly service!
