This is an excellent spot for breakfast if you're in Akaroa, and it's definitely worth the drive over the hill from Christchurch for a weekend getaway. The food is delicious and fresh, the coffee is exceptional, and taking a stroll around Akaroa afterwards is a perfect way to spend your time. View all feedback.
Laudable. Coffee well extracted but milk just a bit off, and a bit of miscommunication on ordering and timing. Other than that the place looks lovely, the muffins were absolutely unreal, and the kids fluffies were cute. Definitely will be back
Rona’s is so delicious. Each dish is unexpected in the most delightful way. Corn risotto is supreme and it was the best chicken liver parfait I’ve ever had. Would make the trip from Christchurch just to eat here. Well done!
Best Coffee Shop in Akaroa. I didn't get to explore all of it, but this was the spot that stood out. great decor and cosy-modern feel. Great spot for warm and hearty dishes on a cold winter or summer's day. Wish i could of taken more pictures, I just didnt wan to be weird.
This was truly the best meal I've ever had in my life. I feel honored to have tasted this incredible food. It's hard to choose a favorite dish, but if I had to, I would say the lamb ribs stole the show. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. Thank you so much, Rona's! We will definitely be back! <3
