A beloved Absecon sub shop blends nostalgia, fresh, hearty cheesesteaks and Italian subs, reasonable prices and friendly counter service into a compact, family-style experience that draws locals and travelers alike. Many praise the flavor and excellent takeout, but inconsistent sandwich assembly, occasional missing condiments (notably vinegar), service mishaps and rare food-safety complaints temper what is otherwise a classic Jersey sub stop.
I always pick up a sub from here when I get home! I really enjoy the Italian and cheesesteak sandwiches. The fries are my favorite too!

Vic's Subs has the most delicious subs and such in the area! I have been going to Vic's Subs since I was a kid. I have since mived from the area but go quite often when I am visiting family in the area, usually the Absecon location. Definitely 5? in myopinion. If you are just getting food for one person, get the 1/2 size or you will get a 2 foot sub.
This place has been around for years for good reason. Fresh bread, generous portions and good quality makes this a hidden gem except for the lucky locals. My only suggestion would be to wrap the hot subs in an aluminum foil wrap instead of the wax paper.Bon appetit.
