This was a disaster, start to finish. One of the dishes was sent back, we ordered fries and the waiter forgot about them, he also forgot that we wanted fries instead of açorda for two dishes and brought the açorda even left it on the table. And then he forgot to tell someone about the dish that went back so they charged it anyway. I'm sure others have pleasant experiences, but ours just wasn't, and therefore I can't... Great food for the price. Tulipa offers three different rooms for meals. And a great service as well. Ask for 'frigideira ', and you will love it.
Found this place in TripAdvisor when passing through A23 highway and saw Abrantes sign. It is a little bit far from the A23 exit (15km) but you won't regret it. The place is not fancy but the staff is great and the food very good. Although I was going for the Churrasquinho, the staff member recommended the Abanicos due to the fact that this meat was better. He also recommended two soups instead of three because the dishes were big. I always appreciate this type of concern and treatment from staff. I will return for sure.
