What Jason a dislikes about Chat:
I can't believe the discrimination we experienced. The food is excellent, but the staff was very unfriendly. My wife and I visited today and waited for 10 minutes. When a couple of a different ethnicity arrived, the manager instructed the staff to attend to them immediately, telling us they would be with us shortly after seating the couple. It's pretty amazing this place can exist in an area that has restaurants like Burrata, Via Forno, Harvest on Hudson, and Polpettina next door. Food tasted like nothing; menu is uninspired. Drinks were ok I guess, but not really great. Seems like a place you go to so that you're seen by others, instead of a place you go to because you want to enjoy some good food. French fries were good though! In conclusion: please please please consider introducing salt into your food.
Good, just expensive for what you get. Dining outside is nice and service is attentive.
Really nice lunch place. A little cheesy inside but totally worth it. Outside is very nice now that they redid it a little. Good menu with a lot of stuff
