Was Mary K at Cafe Red a mag?
We stopped by for a late lunch and were pleased with our experience. The risotto paired with Irish stew was absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive yet not intrusive. The restaurant is quite small, which could make it feel cramped during dinner hours, but I would definitely return. View all feedback.
What Bill H dislikes about Cafe Red:
Bread starter was not a good start. Apps were ok, i wouldn't get the curry shrimp but the burrata was good. The bar made a nice jalapeno margarita that started to turn me. I got the Everything Tuna and it was amazing. Finished off with the Creme Brule that was really good. I would have given it 5 stars if the starters were a little better. Would definitely go back. Nice calm, casual atmosphere but a somewhat glitzy interior that made it perfect for a chill, impromptu, date night. Definitely coming back for more!!
Service was very good. Food was great. We sat near the door and it was a colder day. Every time the door opened the cold came in which made it a little uncomfortable.
Just has a birthday dinner for my girl last night, and both had the prix fixe menu, mussels and sea bass francese. Everything was perfect, even the Crème Brûlée dessert, and the service was attentive. Great value for the quality of food, service, and ambiance as well.
