This restaurant is great for beer lovers! Their Chang beer is priced at 85 baht (2.5 USD). The staff is very friendly and they play good music. The location is surrounded by bars, nightclubs, and ping pong shows.
I would highly recommend avoiding this establishment at all costs. I am disappointed in how our initially promising experience turned out. It is one of the few small key bars on Bangla Road, which is why we decided to give it a try. We were approached by a hired staff member who seemed friendly. We returned three days later for some drinks and games. The atmosphere became tense when my partner won at a game, and the staff became angry. In an attempt to diffuse the situation, my partner offered to buy drinks for all employees on a 1000 baht bill, which he paid for in cash twice. I was sober and witnessed the events unfold throughout the night. Towards the end, some women began to hang around us. The next morning, we discovered that our bank card was missing and there was a 10,000 baht charge on it from the Kangaroo Bar after we had left. I had a great time in Thailand and appreciated the culture and people, so it is disheartening to feel deceived in this way. I would advise others to steer clear of this establishment.
Beware of the staff at this restaurant as they were so intoxicated that they started giving customers fake bills for items they did not order and then argued with them to pay. It was an unfair experience and left us feeling disappointed and betrayed.
Very good if you want to drink beer. 85 Baht per a chang $2.5) the staff very friendly and good music too! The place is full of bars, nightclubs and ping pong show everywhere
