Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had! Prepared right infront of me. The staff was amazing, very courteous and friendly. The head chef, with everything he had to do, took the time to meet us at the door and wish us a good night. Highly recommended to all if ever you visit the beautiful city of Takayama.

The combination of exquisite aromas in the Izakaya setting created a fantastic atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!

It's... read more One of the highlights of our trip in Kanazawa was discovering this charming little restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. It's a shame we only found it on our last day in the city. Thankfully, my limited Japanese was sufficient as the hosts/servers spoke excellent English. They helped us navigate the menu and get the most out of our dining experience. I would return in a heartbeat.
