the best restaurant in kamala by far. the Thai cuisine truly embodies that deliciously cooked by mother quality, which not only satisfies but also meets the alcohol. nana the owner is really an amazing owner and cook, it is normal to end for them for a long time after eating. Terrible place, it was only me and my husband there apart from two guests sitting at the bar,, the waitress took half an hour to serve a drink because she was standing talking to the other two guests who were there. When my drink finally arrived I stood up and called for my husband's drink. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Carl and Nana serve exceptional craft cocktails and delicious food. I tried the watermelon cucumber cocktail which was outstanding, followed by a noodle salad that rivaled anything I had in Phuket. Make sure not to miss this place and ask for recommendations from the chef.
The cocktails are excellent, the food is delicious, and the owner is amazing. Every night is a blast at this restaurant!
This bar is incredible. You never know who you'll see there, as it attracts both locals and tourists. I think it depends on the owner, Nana, who is also the head bartender. She is a fantastic host, quick with a joke and always friendly. The only downside is that the bathroom could use some improvements, but that's really my only complaint. The bar stays open late for paying customers. Just a heads up, there is no cover charge for ladies.
Nana's has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious. The staff members are kind courteous and helpful. We tried the Chicken and Pork Schnitzels, the Massaman Curry w/ prawns, spring rolls, fries, and chicken satay. Everything was delectable!!!
I am staying here in Kamala for six weeks, leaving tomorrow. We have been to Nana's Rooftop restaurant twice now and I'm glad to have been back last night. Her traditional Thai dishes are outstanding and she will tell you the secret is to stay within traditional recipe rules and only then put a signature twist on a dish ever so slightly. She has a wonderful energy and the rooftop itself on a busy main road tells you you aren't in Kansas anymore Toto. We're going to miss you Nana. Thanks heaps.
