Located in the northernmost part of Bang Niang Beach, The Opposite is separated from the next beach, Khuk Khak, by a small inlet fed by the sea. This area, known as Cocos Beach by locals and frequent visitors, is surrounded by coconut palms and offers stunning views of the Andaman Sea. The beach is lined with family-run businesses offering sunshades, loungers, cold drinks, and food. Facilities at The Opposite include parking, massages, beach showers, and a restaurant and bar. Due to rising sea levels and shifting currents, the beach has been eroded over the years, but guests can still enjoy a relaxing day by the water. The beach can get busy during peak season, but it remains a popular destination for visitors from around the world. Overall, The Opposite is a great spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
