Serving deli packs and other food items from local shops, this seems to be a popular spot for locals and tourists on bikes or motorcycles. It's also conveniently located near a hot spring, making it a perfect stop for travelers. With a spacious parking lot and plenty of walking paths, visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll. However, it's worth noting that the best view with blooming trees seems to be behind the restroom, which may be a little unexpected.
I stopped by on my sightseeing trip. In front of Midoriyakan, there was a tasting event for Marumiya's new natto, where I participated in the tasting and a survey with stickers that I often see on TV. Without hesitation, I chose "eat" on the sticker and tried the flavored minced natto for frozen storage. I liked it, so I bought two bags of 12 sticks each. By the way, I'm neither a fan nor hater of natto personally, but I eat it occasionally for health reasons.
