Was うどんこ at こだま a mag?
I came to this restaurant to try the Katsuura tantanmen. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is like a local diner in town. I arrived a little before lunch and was able to sit right away, but it quickly became full and there were always people waiting outside. I have tried various tantanmen in Katsuura, but this one was just average in terms of taste. Personally, I think it's better to enjoy the variety of set meals... View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant after hearing from locals that their tantanmen and pork steak are delicious. The restaurant has a nostalgic atmosphere, which made me excited. The sweetness of the thoroughly sautéed onions combined with the spicy soup created a deep and flavorful tantanmen that was rich but refreshing. For those who desire more spice, you can add table chili oil to adjust to your preference. The pork steak was thick, large, and tender, with a sauce that has a unique flavor that you can't find elsewhere. There is a parking lot across the street and next door, but it can be a bit tricky to park due to the narrow road and curves, especially when it's crowded - you may have to parallel park in the lot across the street and possibly move your car during your meal to allow others to leave. However, I am grateful that there is always someone helping with parking. The restaurant tends to have a lot of customers, but the turnover is fast so the wait time is minimal.
After visiting the Katsuura Kaiyu Park, I wanted to eat Katsuura Tantanmen, so I looked it up on Google Maps and found a highly rated restaurant. It was a restaurant owned by a meat shop, which got me excited. It turned out to be a typical local Chinese restaurant. They had parking space for about 15 cars. It seemed busy during lunchtime on weekends, but we were able to get a table after a short wait. The Tantanmen was not very spicy, with a strong flavor of onions, and the thin noodles were delicious. The fried rice had a bit of moisture in it. The gyoza and menchikatsu were decent. There were many autographs from famous people displayed on the walls.

I had the grilled meat rice dish and it was delicious with flavors that complemented the rice well. Despite being crowded, the dishes were served at a relatively good pace, so there was no stress about that.
