Excellent and authentic Greek food at an affordable price. I can recommend the mixed meat plate with gyros and bifteki. Tzaziki and grilled pita bread comes with meal, and a cold beer will top off a great lunch option near the Tram hub Stauffacher. Service was a bit sleepy.. which held back a 5-star. What User doesn't like about Mythos:
Ordering a hummos the server asled me of I want pita (bred)....¿¿¿do U know even ONE pĺace in tbe World serving hummos without bred??? Like this he could bill us an additional CHF 1.50.To who was writting that "prices were "fair" they surely forgot to have a look at the quantity!!!Greec salat fresh but as the rest, WAAYY TOO EXPENSIVE for the (small) portions.We surely wont come back here. Food was good. Portion sizes were small. Only restaurant I tried so far in Zurich so can't compare much.
Good Greek food. Price-performance is ok for Zurich. Has more of the character of a snack bar than a restaurant.
The service is kind and quick. The food is tasty and the portions enough. I tried the halloumi and the pork menu and the first was my super favorite!
I was there on Monday evening around 8:30 p.m. The male service worker was very friendly and there was nothing going on in the store. Normally I would consider the emptiness a bad indicator, but I was extremely hungry and thirsty so I stayed. I ended up ordering a “normal” gyro plate and a large turbine brew. Food and beer were there in no time (but I would have expected that in an empty shop). The gyro plate tasted really, really tasty. Meat not too dry and not too raw. The fries may be slightly oversalted, but that is always very individual. Tzatziki was excellent. All in all, I can highly recommend the Mythos restaurant and would come back. €34 is standard in Zurich and shouldn't surprise anyone.
Mythos is my number one spot in Zürich to bring friends in! Delicious Greek and mediterranean cuisine, fresh beer and Greek desserts, all for a fair price in a central location in Zürich. What else could one want?
