We were there in October of 2011 but that is not an option to pick. We do not get a lot of venison where we live in the states given that we do not hunt. We had it every chance we could while in Switzerland and they definitely know how to cook it. Served with gravy on the side and spatzle. What Felix Krebs doesn't like about Frohsinn:
Be warned: when coming to Frohsinn in the afternoon, you may be told that no warm dishes would be served until 16:00, as happened to me. It makes no sense that the restaurant runs open for the whole day, yet is unable to cook warm dishes for customers who arrive for lunch. Very nice staff, sometimes very hectic
We ate outside, so I can't say anything about the inside. Food was great (Cordon Bleu) Service very friendly Prices are sometimes too high (bouillon with egg 9. CHF) Overall recommended!

Cordon bleu ist fantastisch in allen Variationen. Personal überaus freundlich und Atmosphäre angenehm trotz Corona Pandemie.
