We decided today in centro zihuatanejo and stopped here on recommendation from friends who died here last winter. it was almost full of local Mexicans, so I thought it would serve traditional Mexican food, and they did it! the breakfast was excellent, our...Waitress was attentive and eating came hot and fast. would definitely recommend la jaiba feliz to breakfast or any meal.

I think we paid about 140 pesos for both of us to eat huge meals. I took a summit in the kitchen and it was super well organized. the day we were there all other customers were Mexican
They offer homemade food with handmade tortillas. excellent service and great prices. I would recommend this place and I have enjoyed eating for a few years.
We had stumbled on this place in 2014 and this year it became our go-to-breakfast spot. My husband and I played pickle ball around the corner and hit the Feliz at least once a week. We brought many friends to the restaurant and everyone left...satisfied. Great breakfasts with eggs any way you like them, chilaquiles, enmoladas (my favourite), enchiladas, everything was good and VERY inexpensive. Give them a try; very nice wait staff and while we had limited spanish, wasn't an issue at all.
In all these years(20) we came to mexiko, I had never pozole. a friend and his wife invited us to meet her there at 22:30 for pozole. when we had ordered, they had only 2 bowls of chicken pozole left. since we never had it, they let us have it. I'm not a chicken soup fan, but I really enjoyed this with the seasonal plate to add their suppe and the other plate to eat it. we have often migrated from the restaurant to speak and never thought of eating there. the menu is on Spanish - I will go back on Thursday before we return to home.
