I have been eating at this retaurant since it opened a few years ago. They specialize in pancakes in the morning with delicious toppings and homemade jams. Dinners are also delicious and the atmosphere becomes romantic with soft light and lots of candles View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Candela Restaurante:
The baked chicken is excellent. Service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry. Nice atmosphere, clientele is mostly tourist trade. Probably will not go back as meal was only average. View all feedback.
Great food and service Margaritas were made from scratch. We had shrimp, pork, fish and octopus. All great
We dined at this restaurant due to recommendation from our hotel and easy proximity. We were there in the off season, and found ourselves the only patrons for the evening. Although the service was quite relaxed (in other words, slow), the food was great, the environment was quiet and enjoyable, and since we were not in a hurry at all we enjoyed our experience very much!
This little restaurant, tucked away at the bottom of the hill from the Hotel Irma (the climb back up takes quite a few calories!), should not be missed by anyone visiting Zihuatanejo.I decided on the shrimp skewers sitting atop a bed of rice cooked in lime and garlic sauce. Wonderful. My wife started with the stuffed avocado: shrimp and ginger. The portion was a meal in itself. She ordered the red snapper with rice, and was able to substitute grilled red pepper for the usual zucchini.I topped my evening with halado de coco. A wonderful experience that ran 745 pesos for the meal, two glasses of win and two bottles of water.Additionally, the canned music was easy on the ears, from opera, the Buena Vista Social Club, Breakfast at Tiffany's "Moon River" ...
The menu is great. My favorite is Quiche Loraine. The jam with the bread is a great Mexican treat. The service has always been good. A little know secret is, that of the name of the restaurant is the name of daughter of the owner, who also has a well know local dining choice
Among the many restaurants on Madera beach this is become our favorite. is quiet and nicely appointed with very pleasant service. I highly recommend their avocado stuffed with shrimp (the best in Zihua and is enough for two people. The grilled red snapper is cooked to perfection. My wife had a grilled pork chop very tasty and not quite as tender as I would like it but as good as you may get in the area. The Apple strudel strudel with ice cream was great as all the other desserts.
