This beachside restaurant in Zanzibar is a rare gem for vegans, with clearly marked options on the menu. After being disappointed by the limited vegan choices at our hotel, we stumbled upon this restaurant and were delighted to find a variety of pasta dishes, including Arrabiata and mushroom pasta. The mango sushi can also be made vegan by simply requesting no tuna. They also offer Mediterranean and Arabic salad/meze dishes with sides like houmous, babaganoush, fries, or olives. The fresh juices are a highlight, and the remote location in Nungwi makes this restaurant a valuable find for vegans visiting Zanzibar.
