Lambert House Cafe - Yuba City

I loved the atmosphere here! Reminds me of Nevada city, a very relaxed feeling. It's super cute inside and the food was excellent! Only suggestion would be for a vegan choice? ?Food: 5/5

Food was fast, hot,and yummy as always. Only one server this AM, started out with just me and 1 other table. In the time I was there, it increased to seven tables total and multiple to go orders. Had to ask for coffee refills a few times even though my cup was at the edge of the table empty each time. Seems more experience and awareness will improve the already friendly service.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had here!One dish came out wrong and it took them a long time to re-fire it. By the time I got out, my food was cold. My hashbrowns were burnt on one side and right on the other. I never received my biscuit, the server never touched table, so I was not able to ask for a ketchup.It is unfortunate that their service has fallen off so much compared to what it was when it was the Sundowner. We will not be back!

I came from out of town and searched breakfast places, based off pictures and reviews. Lambert house cafe caught my attention. I dropped in a little before 7am. The music was great. The hostess was super polite and kind. I got my coffee and had the chicken fried steak, eggs and potatoes. It was delicious, hats off to the chef. Definitely a cut above most chicken fried steaks. I will be coming back for sure.

Sadly I was too busy to sit down and eat something. I would imagine based upon the cleanseliness, the way the restaurant was packed, the great service I got simply ordering a Dr Pepper to go... I will be back to taste the food and give it a full review.
