A fabulous place to eat, and somewhere we make a point of visiting several times when in the area. It has a friendly and comfortable environment, making it hard to leave. The food is just amazing, homemade and totally delicious. There are often 'specials ' too which makes choosing what to eat a nice problem to have. Always worth asking if a vegetarian dish can be made vegan. A great shame that I can 't give it 5 out... View all feedback.
What Gerwyn T doesn't like about Cafe Chameleon:
We went there for our friend Vicky's 70th birthday. She had the three-egg omelette; my partner had a halloumi ciabatta and I went for the pea-protein burger with sauté potatoes (posh chips). All very nice, but not exactly an adventurous menu. The beer purported to be an IPA, but it tasted more like an old-fasioned keg bitter. They would do well to consider stocking one of the new south Wales craft breweries, such as... View all feedback.
Great vegetarian cafe/bistro. Very friendly staff and customers. We have eaten here twice and intend to become regulars. I love that dogs are welcome. Lovely outdoor eating area available too.
One of the most delicious meals out I've ever had. Deffo reccomend!
Just because this is not a fully vegan/vegetarian place I can't give this five stars on this app. Well, it deserves five. Lovely vibe, great staff and excellent food. Heaps of vegan/vegetarian options and they even double check with you if something isn't completely vegan or has allergy type ingredients. A nice selection of beers and ciders on tap too as well as a full bar. You can ask to sample the taps first they offered before I had to ask! An amazing gem to discover in the UK and really really reasonably priced. I wish this place many years of awesomeness, thank you for giving me a break food wise through this trip. 11/10.
A lovely, cosy and rustic cafe with great vegan and vegetarian options. Everything is freshly cooked so don't expect fast food! There is a bar with very good range of alcoholic and soft drinks and fab coffees. I generally order a bowl of olives or hummus with crudites and a drink to nibble on while my meal is being prepared. It has indoor and outdoor seating and a small car park. Always a favourite with me and my friends

They would do well to consider stocking one of the new south Wales craft breweries, such as Tudor or Glamorgan. We ate outside in the May sunshine, in a lovely setting. Then got drenched to the skin on the short walk home. That's the valleys for you.
