Great food and a great value as well. I didn't expect much when I saw the prices and ordered 2 Steak and cheese so I would have enough to eat. I guess I overshot the mark because these things are loaded. I finished one and happily saved one for the next day. I will certainly be back whenever I'm in the area. This stuff puts fast food places to shame.

This was my very first EVER job. Summer of 86. I was 16 years old and I worked here sweeping floors, emptying trash cans, I even delivered orders that were close by on my bike. I haven't been here since I was 17.. I really didn't think it was even open anymore. I'm SO happy that it is! I will come by the very next time I'm in Michigan! I'm so happy!!

Saw episode of Michigan Under The Radar . It featured restaurants in Ypsilanti. 1st one was Gabriel's Cheese Steak Hoagie. They only have 3 items on the menu. Cheese Steak Hoagie, Steak Hoagie, Lunch Box Special(there version of a Italian Sandwich). For drinks they have pepsi products. Was in Ann Arbor for the day attending The Fiber Expo at The local Fairgrounds. Decidedto try Gabriel's. I Sandwich was The Cheese Steak Hoagie. Very good. The Steakwas thinly sliced and had a kind of sauce that was a little bit spicy. They only have 3 Sandwichs but they do they well. Also Sandwichs are reasonably priced.

Love this place, I have been coming here for years! Love their Cheesesteaks!

Absolutely amazing!!! By far the best cheesesteak I’ve experienced. What an organization. Friendly, kind and amazing staff. Will be definitely coming back. I would give 10 stars if I could.
