Beezy's Café - Ypsilanti

The last TWO times we've ordered carryout, we keep getting SMALLER portions for the same price. I'm talking SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER portions. This was the second and last chance. The food was cold, and customer orders were coming out of order. I called the first time this happened, and was promised it would be fixed, but apparently not. Sad this used to be one of our very few favorites.

If I could give them a zero, I would. I have eaten there Pre-Covid, and it was great with enough of this same order for leftovers. This was a carryout portion of Tempeh Hash , vegan, no eggs. It looks like I ate half the food already, right? Nope this is what you get for 7.00 Vegan tempeh Hash. BTW, this is the second one I got after I returned the first and it is even smaller then the first one I got. 5 bites, two pieces of Tempeh.

I love going to Beezy's because its like walking into your friend's kitchen and asking them to make you a sandwich to take with you on your way to work. To-go orders come wrapped in saran wrap with fruit tucked in, brown-bag style. The bread slices are thick and crusty, and the stuffing is piled high with delicious innards. I'd eat here all the time if I could.

AMAZING brunch spot! They have outdoor seating right now and with the weather being nice, it was great to sit outside and enjoy an awesome meal! Everything was fresh and much of it was local! The breakfast burrito was the best I've had! The staff was fantastic and so friendly, the nicest! I really appreciated the warm feeling and compassion of the crew. You all were so awesome! Thank you! We'll be back next time we visit Ypsilanti!

Food was pretty good and their baked goods were a joy. I had the vegetarian sandwich with avocado and sun dried tomatoes. It was pretty good, I wasn’t blown away by the taste which is the only way I’ll give it 5 stars. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely worth trying out! The decor was interesting as well. All in all a great place!
