Very attentive service! The food was great. The drinks, in my opinion, were hit or miss. The mojito and sangria were great. I can't remember what my friend had but he jokingly said it reminded him of soap water haha. Seriously, it just wasn't his taste. We sat outside to eat. We just arrived in the Napa Valley area, flying from South Florida all day, and were starving. We tried a few other places but they were booked, so we walked past this place. They were very inviting , very friendly, and the food was excellent. A
Great experience, loved the setting outdoors, friendly and quick service. We ordered several different things to try and would order most all of them again- the kale salad sadly was not one of them. The ?bikini? bocadillo was amazing, almost ordered a second. The flavors mixed together very well and the faint sweet of the honey just made it perfect. They have a different take of patatas bravas but it was fun to try, and I?d would order it again. Next time will try the paella, many tables around us ordered that and it looked delicious. Tried two desserts as we couldn?t choose, and I enjoyed each of them a lot, even though I?m not huge on dessert.
If you like Tapas, this is the place for you! The food was delicious and well presented. My friend and I shared the patatas bravas, octopus, prawns and pork belly sliders and washed it all down with a lovely tempranillo. A wonderful finish to our girls day out in the Napa Valley. Have patience, like most restaurants they are short staffed, but everyone was friendly and helpful.
Overall a mixed bag, the service was excellent. Very attentive to our table, the food on the other hand was a little more of a mixed bag. Not sure that I would go back personally, but if invited I would be on the lookout for other items to try. Cocktail: the Napa Lemon was what it was called, A great gin cocktail, so good I had another one : The pork belly sliders: the texture was tough and chewy, the sweet sauce on top was ok. Potato Bravas: these were ok, I was missing some extra crispiness from them. The aioli was fine and the red sauce was ok. More like these were walked by a fryer and not put into oil. Shrimp: forgetting the full name for this one, it was fine. Nothing note worry. Goucho: This was the most disappointing part of the meal, at it is almost a hundred bucks. The steak was cooked well but was missing seasoning beyond the finishing salt. The sauce that accompanied it tasted like old oil for lack of a better descriptor. Did nothing for the meat and added an unnecessary fat to a fatty cut of beef. I've had better steaks at other places for far less. Desert: churros. I really liked these, the chocolate sauce was ok, the star to me was the strawberry powder. Added a nice flavor boost to soft and fresh churros, would get these again.
