Shang Hai River - Youngstown

This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. The general tso chicken is so flavorful and tangy. Super Crispy too!

By far, the best fried rice in the county! Every dish I’ve had has been delicious. From Walnut Chicken, Chicken Egg Foo Young to Mu Shu Pork Pepper Steak it’s all amazing. This is our family favorite pick for over a decade now we love it!

We have been going to Shang Hai River for over 15 years. The food is always fresh and delicious; the staff friendly and attentive. We absolutely will not eat Chinese food anywhere else!Also, to the person who left a negative review because of an annoying customer; you should not have faulted the restaurant owner for his bad behavior. If you wanted the police called, why didn't you call them yourself? That is not a reason to leave such a negative review for a business.

?? WE WERE SITTING IN THIS RESTAURANT ENJOYING A MEAL WHEN THIS LOW-LIFE WHITE TRASH DUMB SCUMSHIT IDIOT WALKED IN WITH A NAVY TSHIRT ON AND STARTED TROUBLE WITH US FOR NO REASON. HE TRIED TO THREATEN MY HUSBAND WHILE WE WERE SITTING AT THE TABLE. ?? WE FINALLY CHASED HIM OUT OF THE RESTAURANT. THIS MORON OBVIOUSLY HAD PSYCHIATRIC ISSUES. WE THEN ASKED THE OWNERS TO CALL THE POLICE BUT THEY WERE AFRAID TO. WHAT A PATHETIC FOOL. ??

I absolutely love this place!! I moved back to Ohio almost 5 years ago and I won’t eat Chinese food anywhere but here…I think they are that good!!
