My experience at Nak Won for dinner was fantastic. Despite having to wait for a table due to the popularity of the restaurant, we were seated relatively quickly. We had the option of dining in a room with a Korean BBQ or at a normal table. The staff, although busy, were efficient and attentive. The food arrived promptly and I was thoroughly impressed with the Korean cuisine - this was my first time trying Korean food... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nak Won:
Came here at 940 and not many customers. We ordered our food and waited for about 15 minutes and they didn't even serve us the apps. We asked about it and they said we had to wait until the other food arrived. The waiter waited five minutes to forget to place our order, and that it would be a few minutes. At this point it has been 20 minutes. I asked about a certain time and they can't tell me. I asked about the apps... View all feedback.
Location/Service On the corner slot of First Markham Place, near the Home Depot sideThey have a pretty big sign outside, so it's not hard to miss.
Checked in around a month ago and I have to admit, there service is really just not there.
This place is a solid 3 starand that is a compliment from before.

Bad customer service!
We returned to Nak Won in Markham for lunch. I had fond memories of our last visit, but unfortunately, this time did not meet my expectations. Firstly, the prices have increased - the Gambatang now costs $9.99 instead of the previous $7.99. While I can understand inflation, it was a bit of a disappointment. Secondly, the service seemed rushed and the food took a while to come out. I was surprised as Korean food usually doesn't require much time to be served at other restaurants. Additionally, I was not pleased to see that the Banchan was left out on the counter, exposed to the air. This made me concerned about potential insects around. The Banchan also did not seem fresh, with the cucumbers looking dry and the Vermicelli lacking its usual texture. Overall, I found the GamJaTang to be lacking in taste compared to other Korean restaurants. Personally, I prefer the Owl over Nak Won.
