Contribute FeedbackTivoli Garden offers a buffet brunch that received mixed reviews. While some visitors were disappointed by the food selection and service, others praised the quality and variety. Comments ranged from unsatisfactory food options to excellent service and amenities, catering well to large groups or family celebrations. Despite occasional service hiccups and outdated room amenities, many customers continue to visit for the friendly staff and decent dining experience. Overall, Tivoli Garden appears to be a flexible, reliable choice for events or regular visits, with decent food and service.
I frequently stay at this hotel for business trips, at least once a month. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, they even remember my name and food preferences. This personal touch makes up for the outdated showers and CRT TVs in the rooms. The food in the restaurant is satisfactory and seems to be getting better with each visit. They offer plenty of fresh fruit in the morning and provide an extra cup of coffee in a to-go paper cup. I have tried other hotels in the area, but I always end up returning to the Delta for its excellent service.
We made a reservation at the restaurant and informed the staff that we were there to celebrate our 20th anniversary. About an hour later, there was a knock on the door and we were surprised with a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries along with a note wishing us a happy anniversary. The rooms may be a bit dated, but they are comfortable and the price we paid was exactly what I expected. Overall, I am very pleased with our experience at the Delta Markham.
I couldn't believe how poor the selection and quality of the food were. All they had were large warming trays of scrambled eggs, potatoes, overcooked bacon, sausages, hard-as-rock pancakes, and tiny strips of french toast, for the hot food. Plus some cereals, mediocre quality cut...More
Tivoli Garden is located inside Edward Village where I was staying. The first time the service was as expected - pleasant, polite, willing. Ordered Sesame Crusted Salmon with soba noodles, baby bok choy, red peppers, wasabi mustard spread. Tasty dish, but did not like the noodles and too much wasabi mustard. Had a taste of the Indian Butter Chicken with basmati rice, buttered naan … hmm hmm delicious. The second time, the waiter (an older gentleman) had no personality, miserable. I felt like I was bothering him. I walked in with three kids, he did not give us any kids menu. The restaurant wasn't busy, it was just us and another table. I asked him for a kids menu, he only brought two menu instead of three and he just threw it on the table. I was disappointed with his attitude, lack of service-mindedness.The kids all ordered chicken tenders with fries and they had no complaints. The second time, I ordered the same dish as my first visit Sesame Crusted Salmon and was very satisfied with the dish. Instead of the soba noodles I asked for rice this time, because I did not particularly like the noodles the first time. This is a nice looking restaurant, spacious, lots of seating, has a bar and lounge area, beautiful adjacent outdoor garden, customer free parking, conveniently located inside Edward Village Hotel.
Stayed here to visit multiple Toronto attractions. Location in suburbs was convenient to ontario science center, and 15-20 minutes to downtown, although at times traffic made it longer. The place is older, and feels it. The rooms are a little tired but mostly clean and relatively comfortable. They did not have enough towels in the room for a family of 4, which was not a big deal but when I went down to ask for more the person behind the front desk said she would"personally see that enough towels were provided for the following days"...... Never happened! A small thing though, and overall the place served its purpose. For the money it was a very good deal(great special on packages, any extra night on a package was $79.) so, overall, yes, I as mostly pleased.
