We arrived in town at dinner time and picked this place at random, so glad we did. The Staff were very friendly, and food was great and very reasonably priced. We tried one of the specials, beef stroganoff, and it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely go back again. View all feedback.
What Victor C doesn't like about Olive Tree:
The staff are friendly although it can be very noisy in busy times. We went here twice during our visit. On second visit I sent my meal (bolognese) back as poor standard and taste. This was not charged for and no disagreements over it. We found the food overall average to good apart from that. Worth a try View all feedback.
First-class food at a very good price. I was often in this excellent restaurant and was amazed to read a review that asks the hygiene and maintenance of the personal. my wife and I always choose the olive for one night and have never experienced anything other than the first class courtesy service. it has always met me as a very clean and well presented restaurant. eating is of the highest quality and the personal is always attentive. we often go for the two cursor days that cannot be beaten at £14.95. our favorite start is the Haloumi salad and the fish main courses are excellent. I think this is a hygienic, clean restaurant and one that I would recommend to anyone looking for great food, well presented and served with care and attention.
Excellent food for a special occasion lunch, a varied menu with Mediterranean focus. the service was friendly and efficient, eating beautifully presented. I had healed, which was perfectly cooked and presented in unfusessy wise with roasted vegetables that were just not made fat! I will come back
Fabulous food, friendly staff, great quiet atmosphere and very central.
I spent Christmas day there with my partner. The price of the three courses was good and the food really nice and well presented. Staff was helpful and cheerful. The place is located next to Clifford's Tower so the view was outstanding. The decoration of the restaurant was not what I expected judging from the name of the place but it was okay.
Nice place with a good selection of meals. My partner and I both chose from the pasta selection (tagliatelli with king prawns and lobster ravioli), both were delicious! The desserts offered a more limited choice. We chose the raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake, which was nice but not quite at the same standard as the mains. Prices were reasonable and they also offer a set menu before 6:30pm(3 courses for £17).
