Description

**Exploring Stew Leonard's: A Tale of Mixed Experiences**

Stew Leonard's has long been celebrated for its vibrant selection of fresh produce, meats, and local goods, drawing loyal customers eager for quality. However, recent feedback highlights a shift in quality and customer service that raises concerns. Patrons report dissatisfaction with overpriced, smaller lobster tails, stale products, and unfriendly interactions at the self-checkout, where staff seemed overly suspicious. While many still cherish the market for its innovative shopping app and fresh offerings, the increasing quality control issues and declining customer service could threaten its reputation. For dedicated shoppers, monitoring freshness is now essential.

The Poor Burger Barn. Over the years, they've gradually been cutting down their menu options, and now it mainly consists of hamburgers, hot dogs, and soda. It's a nice spot for taking the kids, but at this rate, I doubt it will last much longer. We'll likely be moving on for good by next year.

Hands down the best place to get your groceries, lobster roll, and great hot food . Plenty to choose from!

My family and I had a disappointing experience at the self-checkout counter. As we scanned each item, a store associate aggressively intervened whenever there was an issue with the scanner. Before I could even explain what happened, she immediately accused us of not scanning an item and began counting what was already in my bag. What she failed to realize was that I hadn’t even had a chance to scan it before she interrupted me with her unsolicited opinion. This happened at least two more times during my transaction. She never apologized for her mistakes and seemed to have already judged us as thieves. I prefer to spend my hard-earned money in places where my business is valued and appreciated.

I'm not too happy with Stew at all. I've shopped here for years and my family has worked for Stew. Throughout the years i know things has changed. So It's been awhile since I've purchased Lobster tails. But yhey have gotten so small there's barely any meat on it. They changed the type of Lobster caught and kept the same price for 4 for 19.96. Completely mind blown. They are so tiny. That's so messed up.

My absolute favorite grocery store! Having moved from Connecticut to Brooklyn, I was let down by the grocery options here. Stew's was my go-to in CT, so when I learned there was a location in Yonkers, I couldn't wait for the weekends to go grocery shopping. They have an amazing selection, along with fresh produce, meat, and baked goods. Plus, be sure to use the app to earn points for free ice cream after your visit!
