A cozy bakery next to the road in Yomitan area. The decore inside is pretty peculiar with old LPs on the walls. Labes are color coded which is a nice idea. Had a tasty veg curry pan.
Fantastic little bakery, several staff working hard. The vegan and vegan/gluten free items are clearly labeled, great music playing to take the stress out of the very difficult choice of what to buy! I purchased rolls filled with chana masala (Indian garbanzo bean curry) just so amazingly good, and olive focaccia bread that was also just perfect a soft chewy experience filled with olives and drenched in olive oil. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow and try some other things. Looks like they sell out pretty quickly I got the last two curry rolls at around 10am. What did I miss that sold out sooner? They have several vegetation sandwich rolls that looked great wish they had a vegan version. I didn’t see any meat products, I think this place is vegetarian with lots of vegan and gluten free products.
Coolest bakery. They have their album of the day playing and on display, always great music. Delicious, proper bread. Well colour-labelled vegan, vegetarian breads, and lots! Updated from previous review on 2023-05-07
I love this bakery. They open quite early for Japan (8am) and it always smells incredible in there. The labeling system makes it easy to distinguish between vegan and non-vegan items (green: vegan, red: gluten free&vegan). All the items also have their names written on them in both English and Japanese. Staff is super nice. Cash only. In the fridge they also sell chocolate soy milk and local kombucha. Sometimes they also have local organic vegetables for sale. You need to go early as they usually sell out around noon.
