Small Japanese square in Yerevan. If you are very tired with oily food, go there. And order Udon. sometimes like kishmen I am very surprised by made noodles. And they have curry, too. Friendly owner and smiling staff. And they have water brand jurjur, the best brand water in Yerevan. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sakurada Japanese:
This place needs to do renovation because the way kitchen looks is against all sanitary norms. Food is okay but after seeing kitchen you don't want to even touch it. Ramen was 6 out of 10 the soup was good but the noodles are basically spaghetti from shop and hard to eat, anything else is very basic for the price you pay. Interesting fact: all ramens/SEAFOOD which has to be pricey, ham, and pork/ cost the same 3000AM... View all feedback.

This place is one of my most favorite places in Yerevan. The atmosphere here is very kind, welcoming and friendly. The Owner himsef is the nicest person I've ever met. He is always ready to cheer you up. The design is impressive cause every corner makes you feel in Japan. The dishes are just perfect and affordable for everybody. The quality of food is always on peak, the ingredients are always fresh. This place also organizes very interesting events. So if you want try Japanese food in Yerevan surrounded by friendly and nice people this is the perfect place for you. I highly recommend it.
The best way to taste Japan in Armenia. Mr. Sakurada makes it greater then you can imagine.
Udon dishes were particularly good. Felt like a very genuine little Japanese restaurant.
Needed some noodles and clear soup. Came here based on some of the raving reviews and was pretty disappointed. Although they seem to have a card machine, you can’t pay by card. They accept only cash. If you have no cash, there’s a bancomart across the road. Next the food was subpar. While the chicken was decent and nicely marinated, the udon was probably recooked and not fresh like what other reviewers say. The soup was lukewarm and isn’t hot. Also, it’s too salty. There was also a fly in my soup. Last but not least, the smiley lady server people talk about does not seem to exist. It looked like a burden having to work and serve someone. There was no smile or greeting, practically no service yet there was a 10% service charge added to the bill. I would avoid this place. Upset I wasted a meal in Yerevan here.
