Called in while on a short break on the Island, had to wait roughly 10 mins for a medium Fish and Chips, was well worth it as it was freshly cooked, the chips were a lovely colour, not pale like a lot of Chip shops and the Fish was a deep golden colour and the batter was beautiful and crisp, cooked to perfection, one of the nicest pieces of fish I’ve had in a long time. Went expecting to eat traditional fish and chips but the menu offers so much more! I chose curried pumpkin and coconut soup followed by griddled garlic mackerel with chips and salad. Both were superb! Add to that a warm and friendly welcome and you have an unexpected gem. Definitely worth a visit ... or more.

Just wanted to say I loved the atmosphere last night. Clifford it was lovely to meet you . The staff were all lovely. Your coffees were great and you serve your cold drinks cold not lukewarm. That sounds obvious but many places either serve a lukewarm drink or a cold drink in a warm glass. I was surprised to find that the restaurant is roomier than I imagined ..Well Done on the first 10 years!
