Went and watched a live bands tonight! All knowing McGill and Watson Co. Pretty chill atmosphere. I'm not a drinker so I had a few red bulls by the can. Bartender was pretty awesome and they had some Merch available. Wasn't sure how I'd feel with a bunch of drunk people but it was pretty under control. Lol. Must be because we were all old. Hahaha. Some friends and I went to the bar to use the restroom, we showed our ids and a friend bought drinks to wait at the bar. As we were using the restrooms someone yanked on the door several times. The latch came off and our friend was indecent and felt violated. I don't go out much in Lincoln. But when I do I like to chill. I have been to the Zoo Bar a few times for a guinees And the owner is cool. But I have to say I'm brown and if your brown don't go here. The females have always been rude and disrespectful. They will verbally assault you and create a scene. I know from experience. I am not one to right a negative review. Because. I know how hard it is to be in business. But if this is the kind of trash talking middle finger popping female they like to command there space. You better watch out...
Great bar and good music very friendly atmosphere awesome bar tenders
Lincoln is fortunate to have one of the best places for live blues on the planet. Every blues great has played at the Zoo Bar and future legends are playing there today
This is one of the best live music venues in Lincoln, and those are getting harder to come by.
This place is iconic. Has the best music in Nebraska. Just went again and my experience was our drinks were cleared when they were halfway full and when I told the bartender about it he told me I was lying. It's not as though I wanted free drinks. I told him I would pay for new ones. He finally relented and bought us two new ones. Pretty disappointing.
