we thought this gas house was great, was a good choice of ales to very good trips, all the staff were very friendly the locals were also welcoming, martin the renter is a sound bloke and an additional bonus on Tuesday night all real ales £2.30 a pint, also all the sports channels available and a large meat pull out on Friday night, a large 5 stars. Popped into the Astley Cross Inn earlier this afternoon as it has been such a nice day. Unfortunately we thought that the beer garden was looking a bit sorry for itself. The grass could of done with a cut, there was some litter hanging around... View all feedback.
Amazing staff. Drinks are always fresh and well kept. Dog friendly and you can't beat this beer garden in the summer! They've done a great job on this garden. Easiest 5* pub

Very friendly made to feel welcome lots of visitors with dogs so children loved it and drinks are a good price
