Me and Denny Setiawan decided to try Thailand food for weekend lunch, one of the famous Thai resto in Auckland. The food was delicious, we ordered lava pork as chef recommendation and get pork belly. Pork day yummy.

The takeaway shop didn't stand out for me, so I initially didn't really want to eat here. My parents forced me to try it so just ordered pad thai. This is hands down the best thai food I've ever had. I don't really like thai food, but their pad thai and cashew chicken meals were amazing. I will definitely be coming back.

Wow, finally! I have been looking for a decent Thai place in Auckland CBD since I became an apartment dweller 6 years ago. The food is amazing, the price is amazing, the portion sizes are decent this is hard to find in auckland city now, but RuangThong doesn’t disappoint! It’s a very basic table and chairs so it’s not fancy, but finally somewhere worth handing over my cash for especially if you want their takeaway option. 5 stars. Recommended for what it is, because it’s fantastic value considering it’s in the auckland CBD! Highly recommended.

My favorite thai in auckland. Has some dishes like Khua Kling you don‘t easily find outside of thailand. For a take away a little bit higher priced as normal but the quality of the food makes good for it. Great and friendly staff too.
