No. 1 Pancake

Will forever love this place, definitely worth the wait as they are always soo busy. Their savoury pancakes are bomb, my personal fave is the chicken and cheese. I also like their cinnamon sugar pancake.<br/

I have been going to this place since university. It served me well then and still serving me well now. Depending on the time you go, you can expect a bit of a wait but honestly, they are worth it. My go to is the beef and cheese with a sprinkle of chilli powder.

At $6 a pancake this Korean pancake street food stand is a winner especially on a cold winters afternoon in the city. <br/ <br/ A new discovery for me Lorne street is choc abloc with lovely street food finds like this one, several coffee and Asian hole in the wall style eateries and dumpling stores as well as a convenient “shop it cheap” Mini so right next door to this pancake haven. Pretty much a teen haven that caters to the trendy and hungry uni crowd in the area. <br/ <br/ Liked: <br/ 1. Cheap prices $6 a pancake <br/ <br/ 2. Had the ham and cheese and the ham and pineapple as we were in the mood for savory but I will definitely go back for the other savory selections and the sweet pancakes which make a great dessert filled with chocolate etc. <br/ <br/ 3. No seating but just love the long bright blue benches just outside the store stand the that you can stand by to finish your pancake and people watch <br/ <br/ 4. Uni Crowd with lots young adults and some queues but well worth the wait. <br/ <br/ I was too busy enjoying every bite to take a photo of the pancake but I will the next time I make a pancake stopover in the city. <br/ <br/

Got the red bean with cheese and double cheese. Really cheap for $6. Nice easy snack. Busy at lunchtimes but really nice fluffy pastry and mozzarella used

No1 Pancakes is a great place in town for some amazing, served hot and fresh pancakes to have on the go. The service provided by the staff is amazing and quick. I only wish it could be available in more locations. But love them
