The atmosphere is welcoming and Covid-compliant, with friendly table service. While the menu may be limited, the quality of the food is excellent, especially the burgers. The restaurant has a great vibe and offers good value for money. Despite some minor issues like lack of separation for smokers, it is worth supporting this local business to help it thrive. Overall, the George and Dragon provides a rustic environment with comfortable seating, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere that is sure to make customers want to return.
We had a sunday roast. I was asked how I wanted my beef cooked when I ordered it. Didn't have to wait very long for the food to arrive. You could also order anything on the menu, not just a roast dinner. Food tasted lovely, service was great. Would definitely go again try food from their daily menu.
Lovely food and great service. Their outdoor area was clean, tidy and (thankfully due to the rain) covered. They are currently taking orders electronically and the system is really easy to use.
Food was a little cold but service was exceptional!
Lovely food, great service, very nice lunch out! Would like to see a few choices for children on the menu too please will definitely come again!!
Very safe following covid rules. Table service and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The only small issue was there is not separation for smokers or non smokers so we have a lot of smoke around us while having lunch.
