Tai Lake - Wuppertal

Good food. authentic kitchen. real tee. fair prices. also has a large terrace. I was with Chinese who liked them. enough parking space. but you could use the puppy-sweden lying right next to him.

While in Wuppertall for a day, I ended up in Tai Lake restaurant. I ate from the afternoon buffet. I am used to eating a lot of spicy, as in real Asian spicy, food. I ate no meat/fish/chicken. All seemed well while in the restaurant, but soon afterwards I felt really unwell for quite a lot of hours, actually through to the next day. I have never experienced headaches after an Asian dinner before, normally I also do not experience any. I am assuming they used a bit too much E621 in preparing their dishes, which gave the dishes a great taste, but I hope Tai Lake will take more care when preparing dishes and sauces and use less MSG. Staff was okay. Toilets clean.

Some of the food didn't taste bad. but I had taken care of eating. I had the buffet and I was there when restaurant was opened for dinner. some of the things I felt were unheated there when they closed after lunch. not ice-cold or warm. other foods as the chicken strips were the same. I'm not going back for food security.

Being vegetarian will reduce the possibilities in this special restaurant. overall is the possibility to have a buffet, a good choice and they can get all kinds, including starters, main course and desert. but if they go with a big group, the location is perfect and they have a lot of space to spend their time

Good seafood selection on Mongolian grill and sushi rolls. service staff was very pleasant as I was alone and actually spoke to me in good English. some dishes had a real spiciness that I get hard in Germany.
