South Beach Grill - Wrightsville Beach

I usually visit SBG for seafood nachos when I am in town to visit family. This time I wanted to try something else. First, Gladys was an amazing server and very courteous of some food allergies at our party (like the kitchen)! My mother and I decided to share the Sweet Potato Flounder and were absolutely in love with the taste. The rice and the green beans were also delicious. We also have an order of okra fries (sans chili oil and garlic) to share for the table. It was all so good that my mother and I would take out the exact same dish in the following night for (imagined). Usually, when I'm in town, I don't visit twice a restaurant because of limited time to enjoy all my local favorites. SBG was so amazing, delicious and fresh that I could not help but order again! And I can't wait for my next visit, so that I can get back to them.

Unbelievable food and service! The waiting staff, the cook and the owners are so kindhearted people. I had lunch and dinner here during my last visit to Wilmington. For dinner we had the Calamari, roasted Okra, lobster Mac and surfing and lawn. A few days later for lunch we had the seafood nachos and black eyebrows. The food is local and so fresh. Their cocktails are also amazing (and they are double! Very recommended!

This dog-friendly restaurant is really a jewel. The outdoor seating is dog-friendly so you can dine with your pup. We ordered the Benne Shrimp and the Azalea Garden Wrap. Both were delicious. Service was great!

We ordered the seafood Nachos as an appetizer and it was delicious! It's a small part, but enough for us four. The fish tacos were great and the fish of the day at them was groupers. The Calamari was also delicious and made a good meal! We hope to go back soon!

Ordered the fish and chips and my friend ordered the shrimp tacos. Both meals were delicious, although mine was a bit too salty. Great service, very quick and staff was friendly. The restaurant could use a bit of a freshen up, especially the bathrooms, but it's a small complaint. Did not detract from the overall great experience.
