What makes this place stand out is their freshly cooked fish and chips! My first visit a few weeks ago blew me away, and now I can't imagine going anywhere else. It's definitely worth the wait, even if you're really hungry! The service is always cheerful, and they even bring the food right to your car in the parking lot behind the restaurant! This evening. had the mini fish special. all freshly cooked. all piping hot when I came home, tasted great, Freindly service and chatted with the owner. a nice personal note they don't see much of these days.
Best chippy in the city. Go regularly, always friendly staff, always quick and always tasty. Oh, and it's reasonably priced!!
Ordered chicken and chips, peas and gravy, and a chicken burger. They didn't have gravy on the menu but offered to.make it for us which was really nice. The food was cooked to order which took about 10 minutes but you can wait in your car and they bring it to you. The food was lovely, best chips by a mile, and the chicken was tender and juicy. Will definitely return!
