I believe that blowing glass is the extreme sport of the art world so I had to pay this place a visit. The venue is a historical thatch building carrying a lot of history with a lovely garden at the back where you can enjoy the sunshine while the children play on the jungle gym. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was not extraordinary, but it was staisfying and is definitely value for money as the portions are generous. I would have liked to have seen some glass blowing as the workshop was lit, but no signage saying whether or not we may observe.
Loving the Barn every time I get a chance to go there. Being a local, it feels like visiting friends. Great place for a meet up and stop over for a quick bite and delicious coffee or tea.
This unassuming art and glass gallery offers good food with a lovely sense of serenity. You are also offered the opportunity to witness local glass blowing of quite beautiful pieces. It's a worthwhile stop over even for just a cup of coffee.
The front-of-house staff are friendly and polite. The atmosphere is calm and tranquil. Lovely little spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee and a book.
Wow! The best brunch we had in the last 5 years. We've travelled to 73 Countries and never new that this gem was right under our eyes all the time!
