Definitely the best curry I've had in Adelaide. Delicious food, large portions served by friendly staff. Good selection of all kinds of curry and many vegetarian options as wel Well priced. Thoroughly recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Royal Indian Restaurant:
One of those place you simply forget and if you ever remember them it's only to avoid them in the future. Absolutely nothing gells in that place from tacky decor, absent-minded staff to food so bland it makes McDonald seems like fine dining. Can recommended...More View all feedback.
This restaurant is a hidden gem that offers delicious food at a reasonable price. The dishes are fresh and flavorful, easy to find, and there is ample parking on the nearby side street. The staff pays attention to small details, such as serving extra Pappadums when there are two diners instead of the usual three, and keeping the wine glass topped up. The service was friendly and attentive, although there was a slight delay in receiving the food (around 20 minutes). Overall, it was a great dining experience and I highly recommend it.
I used a Groupon for the first time to try the banquet menu at this restaurant. The selection of appetizers and mains was great, and there was plenty of food - we even had enough to take some home in a doggie bag. My elderly dad, who was my guest, enjoyed the meal and catching up.
We love their curries! You can try out our packages if you want to sample more than one dish. The Vindaloo is spicy and delicious, the Korma Beef is just as good, and we really enjoyed the samosas.
The food was divine. Try her signature dish (Butter Chicken), which is a wonderful mixture of sour and hearty. My chicken also just fell apart and with the nasty bread was great.
Slowly expanding the radius looking for a decent Indian venue close to home... Today bought us to Royal Indian... Lack of flavour is how I would describe the experience.... Ordered a couple of main size chicken tikka, two naan, rice and a beef vindaloo very...very very hot.. Price wasn't to bad Service was ok Food was rather quick 15 minutes from ordering Food was average.. Tikka 2 main serves in 3 tubs? Dry chicken. Both breast and thy were dry.. good colour but no flavour at all. Really needed a bit of salt at least Naan was naan Vindaloo was one of the worst I've ever had.. not even spicy and the meat was hard and dry.... salt wouldn't have fixed this one.... and it was watery??? Like when put on a plate with rice it separated into only sauce and water.... like real bad. Even the rice some how was sort of dry..... Unfortunately there are so many Indian outlets around us have to say ... won't be back.. Maybe it was a bad night maybe not who knows... unfortunately not a fan
