I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The flavors were so rich and delicious, I couldn't resist going back for seconds. I tried the Kalua Pork, Shrimp, Mac Salad, and brown rice, and everything was done perfectly. This was my first time here, and I was truly impressed. I will definitely be returning in the future. Had a great experience at my first visit to Kokonut Island Grill tonight and got some great food from the menu to taste. The location is easy to reach, well illuminated, good music, well personalized so you don't wait long. They had some unique and personal touches to the food that really differentiates them from other island/hawaiian life in the valley: you season the terry beef with sesame and Mac salad with scalions after the plate, and add an orchid to your plate that almost back to Hawaii: positive moods all around! I had the Katsu chicken and Teriyaki cattle plate and loved it! Best Terry beef I had in the mainland!! Tested by my friend pulled pork nachos and they were really delicious, big homemade chips and I plan to get the next time with some terry beef. I have seen some reviews of partial problems, definitely no problem anymore! Very recommended and cannot wait to try the next item from the menu.
The staff is great, and the location was very nice and clean. But they had no musubis, one of the employees told me they would do something, but after we were done eating our food, and I went to pay for them, they never ended as they had said. So it was a bit disappointing when I was really looking forward to her.
Our experience at Kokonut was fantastic! The wait time was minimal, the food was delicious (although a bit skimpy on the meat), and the flower on top added the perfect finishing touch.
This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and the food is amazing. If you're looking for island-inspired cuisine, this is the perfect spot in Utah Valley. We both tried the Katsu chicken sandwich and loved it. The bun even had the restaurant's logo on it. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a crispy coating.
